Tuesday Tasties: Chicken Pot Pie(Semi-Fail)

What's going on? Today on Tuesday Tasties, we'll be making chicken pot pie. This is a southern classic comfort food that is sure to please everyone. And don't think that you'll have to make some elaborate crust because this uses pancake mix! It's easy and it's delicious. Let's get started.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 bags of mixed vegetables(thawed)
chicken chunks(about 8 boneless, skinless chicken tenders)
1 cup pancake mix
1 can of cream of chicken
1/2 cup of milk
1 egg

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2: Grill your chicken tenders.

Step 2a: If you don't have time to thaw your mixed vegetables, just put them in some warm water while you grill your chicken. It'll be thawed by the time you've cooked the chicken.

Step 3: Cut up your chicken into bite sized pieces.

Step 4: Combine your chicken, mixed vegetables, and cream of chicken in a bowl. Spread this mixture into your greased glass pan.

Step 5: Combine your pancake mix, milk, and egg. Pour this mixture over your chicken and mixed vegetables.

Step 6: Put this into the oven for 30 15 or 20 minutes. Thank you Betty Crocker for the extra brown chicken pot pie. As dark as it looks it's not burnt. Just very brown. VERY brown. That's the last time I listen to a cooking website(not really). Let cool and enjoy!

That wraps up Tuesday Tasties for this week. I hope you all have enjoyed this recipe and I'll see you later on this week. Until next time :-)
